He is the first bishop of the diocese of Irinjalakuda and thus the first Chairman of Social Action Forum Irinjalakuda. It is his vision about social development and the care for the needy and the marginalized that has motivated SAFI in its growth all these years. During his tenure as the bishop of Irinjalakuda and the chairman of SAFI he has initiated various social work projects that were implemented by the agency. He has been a great support and inspiration to the management and the staff of the organization.
